Meet the doctors
Two general dentists who chose kids on purpose. Both are experienced with anxious children and with patients who have special needs.

Dr. Amanda Campbell
General Dentist- DDS, University of Colorado
- Advanced training at UNC Chapel Hill
- Caring for kids since 2014
Known for her patience and warmth, Dr. Campbell connects with even the most anxious children. With a sister who has cerebral palsy and an uncle with Down syndrome, she brings a personal understanding to caring for kids with special needs.
Parents keep saying the same two things: she never rushes, and she explains every step before it happens. At home: her husband and seven rescue dogs.

Dr. Vanna Truong
General Dentist- DMD, University of Nevada, Las Vegas
- Treating kids since 2015
- Office and surgery-center experience
Professional, kind, and genuinely fun, Dr. Truong puts kids at ease from the moment they walk in — even the ones who arrive gripping a sleeve. Her heart has always been with kids, especially in underserved areas, and she is experienced with children who have special needs and children who are afraid of the dentist.
Her motto: “The best smile is a happy smile.” At home: three rescue dogs who hike Red Rock on weekends.
What they have in common
- Kids on purpose. Both are general dentists who built their careers around children, from the first tooth through the teen years.
- Special needs experience. Both care for children and adults with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and other developmental differences. How we adapt the visit.
- Explain first, then do. Every step gets described in kid words before it happens, and parents stay at their child’s side. When a child needs more help, there are sedation options.
- Independently and locally owned. The doctors you meet are the ones who run the place, right here on Craig Rd.
- Ten rescue dogs. Seven at Dr. Campbell’s, three at Dr. Truong’s. Yes, really.
Ready to meet them in person?
Request a visit and tell us a little about your child. First visits are relaxed on purpose.
